Imaginative, empathetic, and poised, Josh Setala is always quick with a smile. He engages his bandmates with a bubbly, zealous swing, no matter what music he’s playing. He can often be found in a big band, leading his Playground Trio, or in a small club playing duo with a friend. Josh completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and he currently lives in New York City. His favorite instrument (after his own) is the bass.
